The team from the Liverpool University School of Architecture returned to the Village on Saturday 14 October to present their updated design plans and models in the Memorial Hall. This presentation was open to the public for four hours and during that time members of the team and members of the Committee were available to listen to observations and deal with questions. Comments were noted and will be carefully considered before plans are finalised and before a planning application is taken forward.
The Memorial Hall Committee met on Monday 16 October to review the “open day” and to consider the next stage which will take the project from concept design through to the preparation and submission of a planning application. This will be done in two stages – a Pre-Planning Application and a Full Planning Application. This process will be led by the University consulting with the Bucknell Memorial Hall Committee at each stage and is expected to take several months to complete.
